Cabo Verde Praia Hospital

The project of Cape Verde Hospital has as main objective to understand the needs of the population in the present moment and its future perspectives. The hospital understands the entire demographic, epidemiological, social, cultural, economic and environmental context, to improve the health and quality of life of the population in an appropriate and efficient manner.

The hospital adopts specific guidelines known as “Evidence-Based Design Principles (EBD)” in the design of its spaces, contributing to the health of patients, helping to reduce recovery time, and improving the experience of their families. It includes 134 beds, 20 intensive care units, 4 operating blocks, 75 consultation and technical offices, radiotherapy, radiology, mammography, ultrasound, endoscopy rooms, laboratories, consultation boxes, pharmacy, hemodialysis, chemotherapy, maternity, and pharmacy.
